I've now got some dates for the Big Meet, a prospective venue and some help.

Because of other commitments and other members planned outings I've settled on the 10th / 11th September.

The plan is for a rendezvous on the Saturday morning at Squires Café, before moving on to Elvington AIr Museum.

http://yorkshireairmuseum.org/

I intend to use the excellent local knowledge available to put forward a number of routes that people can either ride as a group or individually. These will vary in length

I am going to look into the possibilities of camping for those that like that sort of thing and accommodation in the York area on a BnB basis.

It would be good if we could maybe arrange a group meal for the Saturday evening.

On the Sunday the plan is to have a ride to the East Coast. A rendezvous for Lunch before heading over the Humber Bridge.

Working our way Westwards. Any from the South can then depart in that direction and the rest of us continuing heading towards Pontefract / Castleford splitting up to head homewards.

Once again the rendezvous points will be clear and routes suggested to get there. Ride alone or with the group. If we do ride a s a group then we will use the drop off system to make things as simple as possible.
