Hello all... New member here - been riding modern Vespas since 2007, and have flirted with the idea of a maxi scoot for a while. First it was the BV500 (test rode one and loved it, but the dealer wasn't discounting at all), then gravitated toward the Suzuki Burgman, and then I tossed the idea altogether. I assumed small scoots were just right for me.
Well, after some recent travel to Europe (London and Barcelona, specifically), I've got the bug again after seeing all the maxi scoots on the streets. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why they're not more popular in the States. I have my eyes set on a new TMAX (it's a left-over 2015, actually, but still in the crate) that I can get at a pretty steep discount.
I'm looking forward to reading and learning more here on the forum! Thanks for having me!
Aaron

Hi Aaron and welcome, the UK is not as enthusiastic about scooters as Mainland Europe either.
