Anybody going, I'm not but will ride over to see the scoots heading home.

Like to thank the rider of LG52 LWV who I followed along the A12 (and went the long way home) for the 2* nostalgia smell & headache I now have.

Also the 2 lammies that blatted passed and the smell of cooked & thrashed engines

There were quite a few scooters passing my front door yesterday and it took me back to my early scootering years and the smell of Castrol R. Did it really make the scooter go faster?
I have been to the rally in the past and the bands in the evening have been very good indeed. Oddly enough, now that Mersea is on my doorstep I haven't had the urge to attend.
I have a northern muppet staying over this weekend but the wife has already made her mind up that Maldon is the place to go sightseeing.
