Sunrise to Sunset ride 2017 for Air Ambulance.

Post by syntec4 »

On the 22-4-17 I'll be doing the Sunrise to Sunset ride.

The idea is to ride to Lowestoft on the Friday. Stay in a Travelodge and have a few shandys etc. Then get up in time to see the Sunrise at 5:57. Then back in the Hotel for breakfast etc and get ready to ride to South Stack lighthouse on Anglesey to watch the Sunset at 20:23 You have 14hrs between the stops. Google reckons 6+ hrs so theres plenty of time for stopping etc.

Then another BnB and plenty of Chilling out before a gentle cruise home on the Sunday..

There are no fees it's just the Hotel/BnB and beer money. However I will pass the Hat for a donation to the Air Ambulance if you can spare something. Total distance is 360 miles. There are 2 routes, one is across country, The other uses Mways.

Hmm sounds good, I too are a fund raiser for the Air Ambulance, and it just happens I'm on leave from work that week.
I will pencil it in my diary.

No there will be a start point and a end point with some stops on the way , so some may get there before others but we can all meet up in the end ,
