New here with a Piaggio X10

Post by sein »

Hi there

Just got my Piaggio X10 350 executive, just added a GIVI D5604ST as the the standart windscreen was to low for my 190 cm
Love the machine handles great and are a joy to travel on planing a long trip in the spring.

Maxi greetings

Welcome, a few on here have the X10 350, they are a good scoot. Also look at the X9 riders club as well. Some owners have done a mod to protect the fuse box from the UK elements.

if you get the genuine satnav mount for the handle bars , be carefull not to snap the tiny lugs that hold the panel on... it's not easy to get it off...

I hope you enjoy your X10 as much as I did over three years of ownership. On the X9 owners and Riders forum you will find comprehensive details of its only weakness - namely the exposed fuse box underside which is sprayed with road dirt and corrodes terminals very quickly. Check/fix this and you will have a quick and comfortable scooter with the biggest underseat storage area of anything I can think of ( possible exception being the Burgman of course).
Brakes are extremely good but if you want more bite I can recommend fitting EBC HH grade pads to the left front calliper ( which is operated by the right front lever).
