based on the cb 500 and cbr300 engine by the looks of them, US site, hope they come to the uk, I like the look but would need a duel seat and a big screen for me. https://powersports.honda.com/rebel.asp ... ShmORf4.97
Im not a gynecologist, but I dont mind taking a look.
cruisers are more popular in the states, the old 250/450 rebel was current over there until recently, and they have the ctx 700 dct which we dont have so we may not get these new models

I think the new models will sell like hotcakes as they are built with customising in mind and already have the rear subframe bobbed from the factory, few custom pics about already and folk are chomping at the bit, unfortunately i think Europes getting the 500 only, i personally prefer the 300 thumper.
I actually quite like them, which makes a change for me to say that about a Honda. When we move next year, Wifey has said I can have a "proper bike' for toy runs, meets, etc and keep the Burg for my daily transport. As it has to have a low seat and allow me to have my legs fairly straight forward this is the type I am thinking of.
Handling wise, it's got to be better with the 16" wheels. Big fat tyre on the front not an issue (had customs before with them and it never was a problem playing with 600 sports bikes). The only issue I would have with the bike is the diddy fuel tank - a common Honda thing. 10.5lts before reserve, even with the small 500cc engine will give 120 - 140 mile range but that can be changed (all my bikes over the last 20 years could do at least 160 - 180 miles before reserve, I am still trying to get use to the Burgs tank)
