I don't mind rattling a few small demonination coins onto the plate for the hatched face harpie manning the mop in department store toilets, but I'm not leaving 50 cents just to take a basic piss. By the time she's mentally counted the schrapnel, I'm long gone, and post-Brexit even taking a leak is more expensive.
i pay the 40p .funny places forums . you post ref a planned tour and end up debating toilet charges.
or is it me

Sorry to lower the tone of your thread, Clinton. But when gentlemen of a certain age go on tour, the question of the next toilet-stop is never far from their minds.

How do you carry luggage for your 9 day tour? Do you have a tunnel bag? I've been considering one but it must make it more difficult to mount the scooter, especially if you have short-arse legs like me. I've been strapping a bag to the seat but as soon as I've secured it with 4 bungees I suddenly realise that I need something under the seat, which is a real pain.

Did a 12 day tour around Europe's hilly bits with some mates a while back on the DL1000. All my clothes etc fitted in the 48 lt topbox - did take the useless 32lt panniers so I had somewhere to stow my jacket and gloves when we stopped.
Lucky we did not have the wives and significant others with us - the amount of stuff they bring is unreal!
