Hi there folks - I've been riding motorcycles & scooters for 55 years & currently own a Jawa 350 Military twin ( I've always loved 2 strokes). At 70 I have severe arthritic problems & prev swapped my Harley for the Jawa when I realised that if it fell over on me I wouldn't have the strength to lift it off me. Now even the Jawa is becoming a problem..... a scooter would probably be the answer as it could be lower & lighter (prev owned a Piaggio 300cc maxi-scooter & Peugeot Speedfire). I've spotted the WK 300 GTR - anyone had experience of one?
Greetings to all Kevin Evans, Solihull

Try out a Vespa GTS 300. Not that I'm biased........

Re: Looking around!
I second the Vespa GTS 300, but I would as I've got one. Someone on here has a WK 300 I think I remember reading about it. Love the Jawa, if I live close to you I'd love to pop over and look it over. Also have a look at Honda SH 300i and the new Kymco People GT 300i ABS It seems to be very close to the Honda but cheaper and as Kymco stuff is great quality it's worth a look imho.

Sym and Kymco are different companies although both from Taiwan.Fulhamfc wrote:Hi

Both seem to make very high quality Scoots, up there with the best from Japan (most of which are not made in Japan)
I have a Sym and rate it highly.
Kawasaki badge engineer a Kymco for their own range.
