Trouble is this happens fairly often to me, about once every 3-4 weeks. The joys of daily riding all year around in Portsmouth :(

Aside from a seriously bright bib or jacket, and a white helmet, I'm pretty much settled on some additional lighting, such as hub lights.
Beyond that, I am hoping that not all the things I learnt on the way to passing the Institute of Advanced Motorists test, so very long ago, will have been forgotten.

Strangely, I am noticed more now I have a black jacket and white helmet. Tried all the day-glow stuff and better lighting and found it did bugger all. AIM courses are OK but not for me (the local lot seem to be some of the worst riders i have seen)

High vis gear is a good idea... but not from the front as your lights kinda dazzle out the oncoming vehicle.
And as for "polite rider".... lets not get started on that :-)

Be interested in how you get on. Is the width similar to the original?

It's wider Han the original but When on highest setting it's of no benefit Regards keeping wind off hands/arms on lowest setting a bit of protection but not enough to keep hands warmer. At 5'10" tall I can see over top on lowest setting on higher setting you have to look through and if it gets wet/mucky you can't see through and have to clean it.

I have given the GTS a bath, she's lovely and shiny again!

Bought some Osram nightbreakers because my headlights are shocking.

Thought about fitting them, went for a ride instead.

Well not my scoot but..
Lifted my new Oxford Stormex cover on the CBF and found it to be soaking underneath. It looks like the cover is leaking everywhere, especially where the "newly designed" flat panel is allowing the water to pool.
Emailed Sportsbikeshop for an exchange, hope they live up to their reputation for good customer service. :)
Why is it that "New, improved" versions always seem to be anything but.
Trying to attach pics to my email with the new improved Skydrive on messenger saw me pulling my remaining hair out
as it kept going "snap"...I ended up using "old, outdated" Outlook Express. Maybe these old things are better for us older folk. :)

Gave it a wash after a trip out yesterday. Managed 10 mile out - then 10 back again as my thumbs were freezing off. I'll try another day.
