rant.gif Discovered the joy of tractor mud on corners on single track lanes (Welsh mud & moss seem particularly slippy) Scrubbed most of the speed by slidding it along the left banking, then laid it down (reasonably) gently on the right hand side, (anyone got a cheap wind deflector please  )
Gonna push it out into the rain shortly & see how much other damage there is after the mud is gone

Cheers Alan icon_shit.gif Couple more pills & a soak in a rodox bath, I'm pretty much sorted bud icon_thumbs_up.gif

Will get on eblag tonight & order bits, need both belly pans, left side is split in two & right side is gouged where it slide on tarmac, from the bend in the lean stand footplate I'd say there was a rock in the bank that flipped it over to the right, exhaust heat shield is not as shiney as it once was, couple of odds 'n sods to touch up /polish out, leg wind deflectors will be the expensive bit, but hey ho it could have been a whole lot worse there's nothing to stop it being ridden ;)

Cheers guys. Been a while since my last proper 'spill' back in '76ish, glad #I was in 'winter' clothing, market man wasn't optimistic about my boot, guy in the cobblers reckons "not a problem mate", turns out he rides a Bandit :)

As the weather was sunny and a balmy 10'c today, I thought I would go out for a quick blat in the burg to Loomies local bike meet in Hampshire. Managed to ride 120 miles going the long way there on less travelled A and B roads (2 hours, one was not hanging about:) ) rather than the 17 it normally is. Not a massive amount of bikes out on the roads but I suppose most would be put off by the odd shower that was about. Only downside today was getting held up by the other bikes- just do not have the umph to overtake them if they were sat behind a car like a I used to on the XT1200.
