Well I`m suitably in love with the new ( old ) silverwing to fancy putting new DR Pulley Slider/Rollers in.
Any recomendations please.
I`d like a small increase in zip but still good MPGs.
Thinking of 26 grams.
Thanks Mark.
PS one thing I really do wonder is should I use them with variator sliding pieces too or just use the original s I had read the Dr Pulley slider pieces need working on oddly ? Thanks.
Silverwing Dr Pulley s. 26 grams ?

Re: Silverwing Dr Pulley s. 26 grams ?
There is a listing on the Dr P site of OE roller weights...
Errr on the side of caution when deducting the recomended 10%...
I went too light with the first order for the 400, and it was too revvy...
So unless someone has done it and can recommend a specific weight, go only a little lighter... 5%??
The main advantage is the shape... Both lowering and highering the gearing...
As for the sliding pieces... Why not.. They are not that expensive, made of the same material as the sliders and only one lot of postage...

I used heavier in both my SYMs, wanted the same or better acceleration but a much easier cruise.
Everyone else goes lighter.
So I'd suggest trying the same weight...

We went with the weight recommended by Dr. Pulley when we did my brother's 2012 Silverwing. They worked GREAT!
Also, replace the rollers with the DP Sliding Pieces AND the Guides with the DP guides. Really tightens everything up...

Hi I think I will go for the 26 grams and pop them in an new belt maybe in winter ready for next year.
Even though 9K now and a 2007 its still on its original belt, but feels fine.
Is that OK ?
Thanks Mark.

I don't think you can do much else but estimate and try stuff out.

I`ve not afforded it as of yet.
But 26g seems to be the way to go.
They go pretty well anyway.
Best Mark.

Cheers mark I ordered a j Costa variator in the end as it wasn’t much more it’s the top version not the pro so will see how it goes and report back it was 110 quid from Italy the sliders and guides were about 80 euros delivered but dr pulley was sold out of 27 and 28 and didn’t list a 26 from what I could see (confusing website) cheers for the reply

Blimey 110 sounds good value.
Could you send me a link please.
Though slightly penurious as been throwing money away in a daft family influenced going on lately.
Be really interested to hear if it smoothes things out too.
I wonder if the blu little thingies are more hard wearing, if it has those ?
Looks like some nice weather on the way.
Best Mark.
