The lido is still there. The council closed it years ago, then one of those "community fix-it" programmes came over from the USA and put it back together again. It's run by a charity now, and is great for the town. No power-station heating any more though.

On a winter night, we would beat Bolt's 100m record getting from the pool to the changing rooms in nothing but our budgies.

hi rayb, maybe we are in glos itself haven't done any long distances, tend to site the motorhome somewhere and explore on scoot from there.

are you Worcestershire way? we do like Evesham, Pershore, eckington bridge ride round area, brew at roadside and picnic when nice
