The S is fun to ride but not a winter ride so I have seen a 2017 X with 2500 miles, ex demo, no extras but it is data tagged, is this a good deal?

I got a bit more knocked off by them giving me a deal on a bike chain as part of sale. I should be picking it up on the weekend. Then I just need to make my TMax as standard and sell it.

Blue
But you know me and my wrapping... it probably won't stay that color for long and I have ample matt black, gloss red and gloss white left over from my TMax.

Mine is blue too (the fastest colour - FACT!) - enjoy
As I've already said if the bike doesn't have fenda extenda and rad guard get them fitted soonest.
There's not too many rear huggers worth having, some are too short little dagger designs or others way to pricey. So as the main worry is the shock the alternative is to simply fit a shocksock (£20 in Fleabay).

Re: NC750s or x vs Keeping my TMax 500
I know the fender extender is releatively cheap but I reckon I can 3D print one, the rad guard possibly if I used some metal offsets. The Tmax has some plastic things that go around the forks to deflect stones from the front... those could be 3D printed and attached... the shock I may be able to come up with something for that.
I may just take the plunge on the rad guard and buy one. EDIT: Just ordered one for £21 on eBay
I bought some mirrors a while back thinking I could attached them to the TMax, they have built in indicators, sadly they would not fit and would have required an additional adapter I never got around to finding so they may get added on to the NC along with a couple of other bits that are likely transferable
