Two become One...

Have decided it's about time the garage was thinned out - not riding as much these days and not doing so many long journeys.
So am going to replace both the T-Max and the Forza 125 with something in between; smaller but still capable of decent performance, with a big 'boot' like the Forza.

Lots of choices - but the winner is...Yamaha X-Max 300. The Forza 300 was also tempting, but the Yam is a bit more powerful, a bit more spacious, there's a Yam dealer nearby and I already have the Yam topbox (!).

T-Max is going in part-ex; the Forza will be for sale. Delivery in about a month - will seem an age!

Forza 125 out, XMax 300 in - 'undecided' yet; only done 60 miles so tyres, suspension, brakes, engine etc not bedded in.
Seems mostly comfortable but suspension harsh on sharp bumps; screen actually works at limited speeds used so far; huge 'boot'; light and neutral handling; riding position fine for me.

Oh, yes....what happened was...I sold the TMax privately, for cash, about half an hour after a chance remark to someone who had been looking for one for 4 months! Doancha just love it when then happens?
So the Forza went in part ex instead; dealer was happy with that as well.

Touch and bet dealer was happy as they can sell 125cc all day long, maxi scoots tend to languish on the sales floor especially now season winding up.
