Yeah Bern, I think you are right. In a way, it looks like it is going to be good for the Kymco brand though. With the manufacturer in direct control, and with their resources behind it, we should see some good improvements in dealer availability and performance.
I replied to your pm Bern. Thanks!
Ian

Had a pop up notice today from Google saying the 'RE Himalayan now has a purpose made sidecar to match it, does it have enough power to potentially support three people or two plus kit? Looks nice though, never had a chair but quite like the concept, mrs snail not keen though

I guess it depends on how fast you want to go, and whether you wish to climb hills as well!Snail wrote: Fri Nov 23, 2018 7:12 pm t, does it have enough power to potentially support three people or two plus kit?

Re: NEC thoughts.
It will of course have a lower overall final drive ratio eg. larger rear wheel sprocket or/and reduced output shaft sprocket so power shouldn't be a problem. Hills and pulling three people will be easy. It will probably only hit 70mph flat out though. That's good enough in my opinion for a bike with chair. I've never ever seen a bike with chair going any faster as it's not what they are meant for.
