Well I guess it was only a matter of time but I've finally become a bike theft statistic, luckily it was my old tatty (but much loved & used) SH125.
I've found bits of it, plus a smashed open topbox, on local open space, so I'll never have it again.
I would really like to replace with another one, or at least a big-wheeled 125.
I'd appreciate it if anyone has one available, or perhaps sees a suitable candidate on their travels, somewhere south of Birmingham and East of Swindon, so it's within an hours travel time radius of home.
Max budget £1000.
Cheers

Oh an HD200, how do you find it?
I've (rather quickly) become torn between 125 being cheap to run or perhaps the benefit of a more comfortable cruising speed of a 200.
What would be considered an easy cruising speed riding solo on the 200?
Cheers

I think spec speed is 68 never held it full throttle long enough to find out .Pulls away keeps up with traffic okay .

Re: SH125 stolen - looking for replacement
Cheers I'd spotted that one, shame about the colour though.
In fact I've been thinking of changing the idea for replacement and now considering a small (250/350) geared bike. However likely the most I could stretch budget is £2k (ish), the new 321cc Yamaha MT03 has been suggested.

The Versys 300 appeals but a bit new so not sure about 2ndhand prices, also the Yamaha parellel twin seems to have an especially torquey engine whereas the reviews claim the Kwaka needs to be ringed a bit.
