Re: SH125 stolen - looking for replacement
Currently decided to go with a 250-400cc manual bike, which must be able to accommodate a topbox and be all-day comfortable.
At the moment I've test ridden and discounted for various reasons a number of potential bikes - Himalayan, CB300R, MT03.
Usually down to either unacceptable ergos or lack of sufficient vibe-free top end power. The Yamaha came closest but sadly I'm just too cramped on it
I've yet to ride one, to confirm it has enough oomph and interest, but Kawasaki Versys 300 is looking like the best overall compromise. Not many demo bikes about and I'm not going to shell out without being 100%.

Versy 300 (Orwells & dealers in Kent begins with B, name will come to me had one, Kent dealer also had Himalayan)
Herald motorcycles have just introduced 2 years all inclusive RAC cover (omen or good marketing ploy) but not seen a demo 400cc yet (though Hythe Hill motorcycles Colchester mentioned a possible demo bike)

Terry (onittino3) on C90club bought one last year and has used it on some long rides. If you ask, I'm sure he'll happily tell you his experiences. He's a tall lad, too so being cramped was on his shortlist, too.poldark wrote: ↑Sun Jan 20, 2019 9:21 pm Currently decided to go with a 250-400cc manual bike, which must be able to accommodate a topbox and be all-day comfortable.

EDIT: Terry joined Maxi Muppets as he bought Diesel Dave's Foresight and ran it for a while. He might respond to a PM on here if he gets notified. I'll tip him the wink on C90club.
