Silverwing in link has option for offers .Worth a punt even with its mileage they may take £1500 never know .I wouldn't go for pre 2007 silverwings not so economical as later ones due to open loop fuel injection .No exhaust sensor .

Syms are good value. You'd pick up a early forza for your budget or a touch more.

Thanks, for all the replies,i'm feeling the Silverwing is maybe not going small/light enough & to be honest i'm not bothered about having the extra bhp,we're well into the old & slow camp 30ish BHP will be enough, nowadays, but that Silverwing in the link is a really fair price, maybe even cheap(like me).
I'm going to do some more digging round on the Xevo/Piaggio reliability from that era & go & check it out where in the world is Pikeyville ?,I may check the one you mentioned,if I can find it & it's near enough.

I did look out for the Forza300,but none came up in my under £1500 search.

I've never heard the West Midlands reffered to as Pikeyville, what does the name refer to,just curiosity,if you do look at the Bike,i'd be really interested in your opinion :) .

Beetle, we have little experience of scooters only on our third, we have a 400 burgman 68reg, it's quite spacious with low seat height which gives me more confidence being short legged, it is comfortable we are two up 90% of the time, every day transport with couple of weekends away camping and days out, it has good load carrying ability but heavy for its size 215kg, we are getting about 68mpg on a run around 60mph, less about town, it just feels right for two? There is a burgman riders UK forum on facebook
