And crap spares supply from what I read here. Irritating as Sym actually have quite an extensive dealer network - there are a helluva lot more Sym dealers within reach of me than Yamaha dealers!

Yes Capitano, I still pop in from time to time to see what is happening on the ol'forum.
. It would be great if you were correct about a new SYM importer coming along in the not too distant future. Unfortunately however, I think brands like Kymco and SYM will always suffer with poor sales here compared to many other parts of Europe.
I have noticed that MotoGB do seem to be dropping the larger cc models like a stone - and by that I mean anything over 125cc.
Oh well we'll just have to wait and see if Moto GB are going to drop SYM, or we get a new importer. Fingers crossed on that one.

That's cheating! I was thinking of the supply of official spare parts through Sym dealers. Which isn't to say that ebay isn't a great source of parts eg my Chinese Tmax radiator at a fraction of Yamaha's prices!Has been maxi tours wrote: Sun Apr 26, 2020 8:48 pm Genuine new Sym Horn switch £17 on ebay inc post from Israel .![]()

Well I’ve just had some good news from MotoGB. Yes they are going to import the SYM TL500, but it is delayed due to the current situation.

Given their woeful support of present and past Sym models, I'd be dubious about calling that good news.wozza wrote: Tue Apr 28, 2020 9:00 pm Well I’ve just had some good news from MotoGB. Yes they are going to import the SYM TL500, but it is delayed due to the current situation.

That's a fair comment when referring to MotoGB.capitano wrote: Tue Apr 28, 2020 9:23 pmGiven their woeful support of present and past Sym models, I'd be dubious about calling that good news.wozza wrote: Tue Apr 28, 2020 9:00 pm Well I’ve just had some good news from MotoGB. With the current crisis, almost every business is going to struggle to keep their heads above water, especially if they've got debts. Apart from Amazon, the supermarkets and the delivery couriers of course! If things don't start returning to normal pretty soon, there will be be no economy left to go back to.wozza wrote: Wed Apr 29, 2020 2:22 amWow, I'm surprised to hear about 3X - they've been going for years.Has been maxi tours wrote: Tue Apr 28, 2020 11:45 pm Three crosses the Peugeot importer just gone under so let's hope moto GB ride it out .
