Long shot request,I have a friend 89 years old still riding a Piaggio X9 250 year 2000 ( Honda engined ) he wants a paper edition of a workshop manual or owners handbook. Can get a downloaded one but he wants a book, don’t think Haynes did one? But if anyone can advise where I could get him one much appreciated, thanks

Re: Piaggio X9 250
There's a Haynes Manual 2760 on eBay now which might cover it?

Re: Piaggio X9 250
That wouldn't be 'DaveSilverbonce' would it? If so, I remember meeting him on one of our rideouts here in Essex. Think it was Mottzas 'Pie & Mash' run a few years back. He had an X9 then to. May be the same one if it's him. Nice chap.Davefirestorm wrote: Wed Apr 29, 2020 3:47 pm Long shot request,I have a friend 89 years old still riding a Piaggio X9 250 year 2000 ( Honda engined ) he wants a paper edition of a workshop manual or owners handbook. Can get a downloaded one but he wants a book, don’t think Haynes did one? Might be worth trying the Modern Vespa site too (it's not just Vespas, it's mostly all Piaggio bikes) as they have a great Wiki page with manuals for lots of Piaggio bikes that you can download and I think some links to where you can buy them. Good hunting!
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

Re: Piaggio X9 250
Neither of us are “silverbonce†although we both have a good head of grey hair lol. My mate has been riding for years mainly British bikes but his Piaggio he rides mostly these days he retired just 4 years ago! He does all his own maintenance and a manual is what he is after.I have a lot of Piaggio parts left over from my Hexagon fuel tank/radiator/seat/ transmission rollers would they be any use to him?

Re: Piaggio X9 250
If he can get a downloadable manual why not just download it and print it off ?Davefirestorm wrote: Wed Apr 29, 2020 3:47 pm Long shot request,I have a friend 89 years old still riding a Piaggio X9 250 year 2000 ( Honda engined ) he wants a paper edition of a workshop manual or owners handbook. Can get a downloaded one but he wants a book, don’t think Haynes did one?
