New Vespa GTS 300

Post by smeghead »

Hello Muppets. I’ve decided after an almost 2 year break to get another Vespa GTS 300. I’ve chewed over other things like, possibly, a Royal Enfield but the Vespa wins. I remember just how much fun it was with zero hassle. I’ve approached a healer that has a brand new HPE in red for just £3999 but he also has a Grey Super Sport for £4249 and an Ex-Demo in yellow on a 19 plate with around 100 miles on for £3350. My worry with ex demo is that several people have got on it and ragged it as it’s not theirs, maybe I’m being paranoid as the price is very decent. What’s people’s opinion on the demo one? I remember being very careful running my other one in. It’s what I’m like! And many thanks to Data for getting me back on this brilliant forum.

I watched a video about hard breakin as it's called usually high mileage where it may or may not be a problem .Its got rev limiter so may not be that much of a problem .

I'd go for the super sport.

I’ve got a new shower enclosure and tray being delivered by a courier in Doncaster to my home in Dumbarton tomorrow - just saying - by the way I’d opt for the red one at three 999

A friend has 5 bikes in his garage, including 2 R/E's, his favorite is his GTS so good choice. I think the thought of an ex demo being thrashed will always be in the back of your mind even though I'm sure no damage has been done. The red HPE for me, and its a very good price.
Im not a gynecologist, but I dont mind taking a look.
