Picked up the New Burgman 400 this morning.
On my way to the shop it was p*ssing down, but once I arrived it stopped.
Did the swap over and I was on my way.
The roads were still wet and my new bike was going to get dirty

First impression after stepping off of the Xmax 300 onto the Burgman was the comfortable riding position with legroom available.
The seat also felt really soft compared to the Xmax, I know the material that they used on the Xmax 300 was very prone to getting stained with water marks.
One thing I will not miss on the Xmax 300 is the rubbish selector switch.
I don't mind the keyless part, but the switch was really difficult to use. It really needs a redesign.
There is not much difference in performance, the Burgman has approx. 4 hp extra but has to lug an extra 36 kg.
I did about 35 miles trying to dodge the local showers before I admitted defeat and headed home.
The Bike was not too dirty and a quite wipe over with Autoglym Fast Glass and it looked OK.
I recently bought an electric Spray gun and I am going to ACF50 the scooter when it will get a good clean beforehand.
Very pleased with the Burgman, after owning several in the past its like putting your favourite slippers on
