It was owned by a friend that just moved on to another hobby,
It's had quite a charmed life I have a brown log book from 1950
for it it was first sold in Gloster then made it's way to Bolton
in 1950 it stayed in that area till I bought it about 2 or 3 years
back me being the 4th owner.
The wife now seems to have taken a fancy to it incudint it in her VE day celibrations.

Prob for same reason my Sunbeam S8 (owned for 52+ years) hasn’t been ridden for last 6 years - its weight and my immobility.

That looks good I had a S7 I liked it did lots of miles much better than I expected and smooth to,
