Wind Noise

Post by 13Brads »

Hello all.
I am finding my 400 burgy has a lot of wind noise with the standard screen fitted. I have seen two givi screens that are recommended but thay are a bit pricey. Are there any other ones that offer an improvement. Alternatively, has anyone cut the existing screen down a bit. I'm not too worried about having my upper body in the airflow as I am used to riding unfaired bikes.

I have the Givi af266 on mine. I got it a few years back from Italy direct. Cost just over a hundred pounds plus shipping. It’s a great asset to the bike and well worth the money in the long run. However, if you can’t afford it there are great screen spoilers you can add which deflect the wind depending on angle. They’re mainly universal fitment and relatively cheap, around £30-£50 ish.

Thanks for the reply Stibbs. I like the look of the af266 but its a bit too pricey just now. I will do a search on the spoilers and see whats about.
