I have a 12v tyre inflator which is placed straight on to the valve so it won't go on as it fouls the rear wheel hub.Tried the push bike pump tall T shaped handled pump won't fit as there is a lever that fouls.
Tried a small 250mm long bike pump won't fit as the valve lever fouls.
Went to Tesco paid 50p on the air line however at the end it is cranked still wouldn't fit on.
How and where please do I add air to the tyre as the rear is only at 28psi

Right angle adapters are a faff but they work. Ebay or Amazon.

Re: Tyre Pump
I have a pump that has a screw on fitting so no problem with it coming off , I bought it from Sainsburys the power lead and air tube all fit inside the body it has a digital gauge . Years ago I bought a hand pump designed for pushbikes that pumps on both strokes and has a small gauge built in as well , it is only about 1 foot long by 1 inch dia and will get a bike tyre up a few pounds quite quickly .

I have a flexible connector which solves the problem as far as my Silverwing is concerned:Whatsisname wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 10:42 pm Right angle adapters are a faff but they work. Ebay or Amazon.
I also have one of these, just in case:

Re: Tyre Pump
Many thanks for the replies I have a 200 Burgman which should(hopefully) show to the left of this post? I have a similar issue with my motorcycle tyres in that it is difficult to get the air line on but not impossible. I have an old Michelin 12 v tyre inflator but the actual air line is very rigid and will not bend onto the valves at all.
The way forward is possibly Waldorf's suggestion either the 90 degree bend suggested or the short extension which hopefully is more flexible?

Right angle adapter for me, too. My '19 Honda Forza 300 came with one on the back wheel - presumably original equipment.

Re: Tyre Pump
The flexible extension is flexible but not floppy (no tittering, please); it is very useful since I don't have to get down on to my knees to pump up the tyres.
It does work with straight valves but requires a certain deftness to screw it on in the confined space of a maxiscooter rear wheel.
I have the right-angled extension as previous scooters have had a variety of valves.
Buy both if you can afford it; they're not expensive and will last for ever.
