A true smile extends to your eyes... though if you have a correctly fitted helmet it should squash your cheeks enough to make it look like you are smiling.

OK, it's really simple................it's not all about them outside the helmet
Sometime how you feel inside, makes others feel better, by the way you are when you do interact with them in any way.
That's how i see the bike thing anyway. I know they can't see my face but i feel good doing it....karma ??
Try it some time, when you are walking down the street. Ever notice how everybody stares at the floor, never eye contact ??
Try for eye contact, sometimes you can be successful !! Then a smile.....it's contagious
Happy holiday peeps

Strange how walkers with dogs always say hello to each other, were they bikers in another life?

'The System ' is pretty standard usage if you go on IAM rides. It's really good if there are a lot of junctions involved as you don't have to have sight of the ride leader to follow the route

Blimey!
Two things come to mind with the resurrection of this 2009 topic.
1. Mr Angry (Del) is still around (on Facebook,) still, "Mr Angry," although he doesn't ride now due to health issues.
2. It's a sad reminder of us losing SteveW a few years ago.
It's still a valid topic, 12 years on.
