Hello all
I'm totally new to this so excuse the post. I'm about to enter the world of scooters at the ripe old age of 55! (Probably a mid-life crisis). I'd like some advice if possible? I will be looking for an A2 friendly scooter suitable for longer rides/touring, but something that would also work in town. I'm 6ft 4 (long legs!) so ideally something that would be comfortable and not look too silly! Also ... second hand..so reliable! If anyone has any advice or experience that would be appreciated Many thanks for reading this far. Regards G

Re: New (tall!) rider
Most Tmaxs are very roomy and allow you to stretch your legs out - apart from the mk3 (2008-11), which is apparently awful for the long legged (bars are too low and they seem to have brought the rider position forward). TMaxs are all A2 licence eligible (under 48bhp).

Re: New (tall!) rider
I posted quite a long item on scooters for tall riders, I am 6'3". If you click on my profile and click on " Re :Newbie" dated Jan 23rd 2021, you can see the post, which covers quite a few twist and go scooters that I have ridden / owned and contains good info for a tall rider such as yourself.

A previous generation suzuki burgman 400 might fit the bill, I'm not sure if the burgma 650 or honda silverwing are a2.

They won't be - 54 and 50bhp respectively, unless restricted somehow.steve_h80 wrote: Mon Jul 12, 2021 10:15 am A previous generation suzuki burgman 400 might fit the bill, I'm not sure if the burgma 650 or honda silverwing are a2.
