I disagree with Data profoundly as I could list many things on the down side but won’t. I refuse to expand because it’s not the place to do that. But there is plenty of evidence to support my views. However, I won’t fall out with anyone on here as this is primarily a site where we swap views on scoots and related matters and I hope to continue in that vane. Apart from that I hope to meet up with some you on a ride out in future and wouldn’t like that to tarnish relationships

Yes it's not the right place to discuss this further. Stibbs, It matters not what your views might be or what mine may be. It only matters that we have that rideout for afternoon tea and cake! I do not believe anything else is more important! Oh...maybe ice cream.Stibbs wrote: ↑Tue Aug 17, 2021 4:32 pm I disagree with Data profoundly as I could list many things on the down side but won’t. Re: Ebay European countries purchasing parts
I recently bought a rubber floor mat for my 2019 Honda SH300i from an italian vendor on fleabay - shipping was quoted as 15 euro however i later received an email from them asking for an additional 15 euro for shipping as apparently shipping costs to the U.K. had risen considerably - to be honest the shipping cost is nearly equivalent to the cost of the actual item - it’s still to be delivered by DPD just hope that they too don’t ask me for more money
UPDATE
DPD lost the item and the Italian vendor made a full refund

Mine turned up Friday. No charges to pay. I'd sort of given up on it and bought a heavier set of weights for the JCosta from Sip Scooter on the 9th and they arrived today. Sip Scooters send by DHL but it was delivered by Parcelforce here. I assume Parcelforce are doing the customs clearance?

Very odd - I can't see DHL and Parcelforce exchanging Parcels half way through! I guess it must have come via DeutchePost initially. Any courier who delivers it will have put it through customs, and bill you for VAT if necessary!
