Make sure you get it from the proper French government site not one of the rip-off merchants. It's only 4 or 5 €.

abitmad wrote: Fri Oct 15, 2021 5:28 pm The medium screen finally arrived after a few weeks wait. I fitted it today and went for a 10 mile run including some fast stretches to test it. It makes a huge difference. Previously I had the flyscreen that comes original on my Touring model, looks neat but it was never much good, even in the summer, especially as I prefer to ride with an open face helmet. But with the new med screen I can ride with an open face and no visor, just my shades. I'm 5' 8" and have to sit upright to see over the screen, or accept looking through it if I slouch. It doesn't look too bad either, avoiding the awful appearance of the full size screen whilst still providing very decent protection. Not sure Ii'll ever go back to the flyscreen, even in hot weather.

One odd side effect is that the bike sounds different, louder, presumably due to the sound being reflected off the larger screen.

That makes three items I've added, a CTEK permanent battery lead, a Beeline nav device and the new screen. Oh and I bought a pair of heated gloves, the kind that use their own rechargeable batts.
Had breakfast with abitmad today, must say the medium screen looks very nice on his Vespa

Not the best photo to showcase it though. But you get the general idea.

Yes, that's one awfully neglected GT/GTS.

I have a clear plastic film over the paint just behind the front wheel. I also run a fender extender to stop the stone chips. I coat the underside of the bike with Waxoyl every year, it bleeds together if a stone does cause a chip and it protects it until I touch it up. In five years I have just a couple, no more than that I have touched them up. The whole bike inside and everywhere I could get it has Waxoyl sprayed or painted on it. But in reality, it isn't really needed these days because of the anti rust primer they use, the same as on cars. It works well. But stone chips are the issue, folks don't check the underside of the bike for them so they eventually start rusting.

There used to be a bloke on here called Pikey who had a GT200 with similar corrosion if I remember correctly. ;)
