Joining the other side

Post by Morgann »

Got my 650 Exec last Wednesday; first scooter ever. I do tend to extremes tho.
Been riding an SV 650 for the last few years but now I'm old and feeling the cold
I need warmth and comfort to ride for more than an hour
I thought about a Goldwing but its just too much; size, weight, cost. Need a mortgage to buy it and a second pension to run it.
So, maxiscoot it is.
So strange. keep pulling the back brake ready to change gear. I've stopped trying to find the back brake with my right foot tho so that's progress. :D
Need warmer pants and a bigger screen though, it's a colder ride than I expected but, spring is nearly here.
It's nice and quick and I can get a weeks shopping into it.
And it gets compliments.

Good choice, I'll sure you'll get used to the lack of clutch.

I have a similar issue whenever I drive the wife's car; stomping for a pedal that isn't there every time I come to a junction.
