We don't seem to get many DCT problems on the NC700 Forum, and all have been fixed, Dave Wilkens motorcycles would be my first place to call.
I have no problems riding my DCT, my left thumb is near the down shift if the engine is cold when going up a local hill to de-stress the engine.
I enquired about the availability of a 350ADV, Honda's having supply problems obtaining some suspension parts and were quoting October if I put down a deposit on one.

Re: Forza 750 Faulty
The Honda DCT's are very reliable normally so there aren't any real concerns. Problems are very rare.
Grumpy, the DCT gearboxes cannot be changed out as a separate unit. It's an integral part of the engine unit making it extremely complex. Certain issues can be dealer fixed but Honda advises against folks attempting major repairs without specialist knowledge, including techs.
The HFT (human friendly transmissions) are another thing completely. These are eCVT transmissions & again are extremely complex. Not entirely unlike the Burgman 650. They do not require a clean room, just a very clean workshop. But all engine & gearbox work does. A dirty workshop invites trouble!

I was told by a Honda tech that the HFT box is a simple cassette type unit which is easy to access. The bad news is its a sealed unit and costs £2500 to replace.

Im not a gynecologist, but I dont mind taking a look.

Yes, that's pretty much correct Horobags. It's far too complex for most folks to strip & repair timely & economically. They normally return them to Honda. The Burgman 650 has an eCVT transmission also. It's a completely separate gearbox to the engine, just like the pre-unit construction engines of MC's in the earlier days of biking. But getting that gearbox out of the bike requires massive amounts of work. In fact much of the bike has to come apart. Big job!

Well I have now got the 350 Forza in Blue from Honda they have refunded me my deposit and two months finance payments made and gave me a £200 credit voucher, the new bike seems ok only done 60 miles on my commute so far so it’s early days I used the voucher towards a service plan for 3 years just paid the short fall £95.00. The 350 does feel a lot lighter pushing it into my garage and a little smaller in size, I’m off for a longer ride today wife’s watching Tennis
