From Chatham Kent I have a bike that will transport me to a different country without stopping to fill up.

That's not the grandest claim ever made....Chatham is only 20-30 miles from Dover, and France is only 20 miles across the Channel, and you don't need any petrol on the Ferry or through the tunnel!

I'm from Essex and consider Kent as a different country anyway. "Never go south of the river, mate..."

I'm originally from Essex and Yes, I considered Kent to be a different country as well! Despite coming from the very South of Essex and being able to see Kent from my bedroom window! There again, the chaotic state of the Dartford crossing means that many crossings between countries are easier and less hassle than going between Essex and Kent!
