Save your Sunday dinner for later ladies and gents, you don't want to be hauling all that extra weight around the Essex lanes

Meeting at Abberton Reservoir Visitors Centre at 1pm for a chat and some eats and drinks then a leisurely 30 mile ride around some Essex lanes taking in Messing, Coggeshall, Earls Colne, Clay Hill, Bures and down to Marks Tey where we can go our separate ways.

Weather looking good, cloudy afternoon, 8 degrees and light winds.

Be aware that there's a road closure just north of the reservoir to the right of Malting Green.

The parking attendants and the extra catering staff at the visitors centre had to be stood down as no one was available for this ride.
