Nice bike but!

Post by knight2 »

I knew Vincents went for good money, but ouch!. If I sold the house it might cover the deposit :D

At the end of the day, it's only worth that if someone is willing to pay that much for it.

One did go for a lot less at Bonhams in 2017 but this one - albeit with a unique paint finish - sold in 2016 makes this eBay offer look like a bargain (if you allow for inflation)!

This Vincent bike is beautiful. I have a Honda. And it's also expensive to maintain. One of my last purchases is a windscreen on a transalp 600. The shield needs to have the right shape to keep the airflow from blowing directly into your face. It is also important that it be well installed. If installed correctly, the airflow will be directed into the riders helmet and not into their eyes. Therefore, this detail requires special attention from the owner.
