
Pity the Scootsmart advertise themselves as good for "touring". Maybe out and return to the local Starbucks is their idea of "touring". The POS certainly made my trip an adventure.

It's probably my fault, having spent an impressionable age running MZs with East German Pneumant tyres on.
Were the Pneumats on a par with push bike tyres for longevity? I'll guess that they weren't exactly the stickiest tyre around as well?
They took some getting used to. Wear was minimal but if you did enough miles on them they used to square off even more so getting a free rear every 5k or so was a good idea.
