I had 2024 Tmax delivered about 2 weeks ago but didnt have chance to ride a lot.
I did noticed a strange behavior at about 3000rpm. This is where the Rev will keep going higher but speed doesnt, if i keep reving to 4500-5000 rpm i would feel something like the cvt belt jumped and rev will drop slightly,
The bike will climb up in speed again from this point. The issue only happen when i roll the bike from stop or if i drop speed below 20km/h only.
Anyone know what the problem could be? The bike only has 260km done?

Hi, I've also got a 2024 Tmax and when I open the throttle the revs and speed rises. Sorry, no idea on what your problem could be. Can you take it back to the dealer for them to look at it?

I'd be having a chat with the dealer.
At low speed or down hill the CVT disengages fully, you coast and if you go back on the throttle a bit quickly it re-engages with a bit of obviously mechanical doings, but other than that it should be smooth, just the usual "wasps in a jamjar" stuff before revs rise with speed. 20 mph is too high and the sequence makes me think something is loose.

Thanks for the response. I went one of the closest bike shop(not yamaha as it is quite far away) He said it something to do with either Belt or Pulley, he can fix it but it might void the new bike warranty.
So look like it will be a long trip back to yamaha. Will give an update once sorted
