I am from Wales. Started riding the RXG 125 (2 stroke) graduated gradually over a few decades to currently Tracer 9GT+ and an interceptor 650.

Today booked a Kymco AK 550 premium, delivery just before Christmas, hurray.

Looking forward to many mile of riding my scooter in comfort.

Hi and welcome.

Sounds like you've had an interesting range of bikes. Are you getting the Kymco to replace the other bikes?

The AK550 is a fabulous machine. My early model had a tendency to flatten the battery but I believe improvements have been made in that area. It didn't help that my dealer allowed the battery to go flat even before I took delivery! I fitted a charging point connection in the glove box to make life easier but later models may already have something that takes provides this. No other issues apart from poor dealer network though.

Not replacing any bikes. The Kymco will hopefully be my daily commuter to work.

The dealer is going to install an extension for the battery tender and Kymco is supplying a Datatool tracker!
