So...swopped my 4 years of Forza 350 for a new ADV350 on Wednesday, once the blizzard stopped here...
Won't comment too much on performance/brakes/handling yet as have only done 40 miles so far on new engine, tyres and brake pads on slimy mucky roads!
Ride quality is still firm but definitely seemed better controlled than the Forza - this is a new model ADV with the upgraded suspension.
At up to 50mph, the weather protection seemed reasonable and it was pretty cold...had the fairing wind deflectors put on it; screen fully up. Didn't bother with heated grips as I have battery heated gloves which are excellent.
Haven't ridden it again yet (weather!) but have rotated the brake levers down a bit to suit me; sawn the shopping-puncturing prongs off the underside of the seat, glued some anti slip mat to the bottom of the luggage area, and let the tyres down by 2psi to suit my weight.
Oh and have tried to make sense of the 42 handbook pages (42 PAGES!!) of instructions on how to use the instrument panel - one aspect of the Forza that I'd definitely prefer...

Re: Another new ADV350 (after 4 Forza years)
Congratulations on the new bike, Greyerbeard, what colour did you go for?
I agree about the handbook for the ADV 350, I have tried reading it - re the instrument panel and it's it's horrendously long and complicated to me ( I'm not good with instructions!) - I'm still trying to work out how to zero the trip meter! My 300 Forza's was simpler but the new ADV's panel is very clear, lit up, and easy to read.
I've just booked mine in for it's 600 mile service.

Greyerbeard, congratulations! I do like the ADV350. Let us have more about the bike once you have some miles on her. Enjoy!

Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

Will do - initial impressions are good - suspension is definitely a step up from the Forza 350; still firm but much more controlled and less crashy.
Feels a bit more roomy without being too far from the ground; I can live with the bit less weather protection as it's replacing both a Triumph Street Scrambler 900 and the Forza.
Rides more like a motorcycle, and something I've seen no-one else mention is the 'footrests' moulded into the rear of the footboards, so you can ride it almost in a motorcycle seating position.
More as and when!

Re: Another new ADV350 (after 4 Forza years)
I tried an ADV350 at Aylesford Honda's demo day on Saturday (15th March)
It was the new 2025 model with just 5 miles on it - I was very impressed, nice wide handlebars, with effective handguards as standard, it has a good range of feet positions, including the 'step' at the back to put your heel onto and feet forward option, high handlebars gave me more room for my knees when doing U-turns. As for the suspension - the full-length front forks really help stability & handling, it honestly felt much more like a motorcycle to me than a scooter - which considering the 15" front and 14" back wheel size is excellent.
Reckon I'll be getting one in the future - just need to decide which bike has to go to make room for it.

I agree about the handbook. I gave up on the instructions for the instrument panel and just played around with it till I learned it.
