New ADV350

What colour did you for? I went for the matt black.

Bright red.

ADV350s everywhere! Even I'm thinking of replacing my wrecked Tmax with one! We'll have to rename this forum to ADV350-Muppets before long!

The ADV definitely has a bit more poke than my 125 air cooled Kymco that's for sure.

Had mine 18 months, great bike, for comfort added a cheap flip screen and a oxford air seat, did a 186 mile trip coped no problem and 86mpg

Update on mine now it's had its 1st service and really feels like 'mine' (!) -
Very happy with it, after several years on a Forza 350 - as said before, the suspension is obviously better quality, if still 'scooter firm'. Definitely more under control on our appalling roads and the handling/steering/grip is excellent.
Performance is excellent as per the Forza - quick off the mark, and happy at all UK speeds with around 83mpg. Brakes good. I'm comfortable on it at 5' 10" and 74kg. Some people feel the need for a comfort seat; maybe I have a compliant backside... I particularly like the 'footrests' moulded into the rear of the footboards, so you can ride it with your feet right back like on a motorcycle - a nice change now and again on rough roads. Luggage space is excellent like the Forza's, but remember to saw those 'document holder' prongs off the bottom of the seat before they puncture your shopping/luggage!
Have put a £70 'DC Parts' bigger screen on, which is 4" taller and much better; also a larger rear hugger from AliExpress which I'm not sure achieves anything!
Not particularly keen on the ludicrously over complicated TFT instrument panel, and I'll never link the thing to my phone - I'm riding a damn motorcycle; not yakking on the phone or listening to music, and I can find my way around with a map, thanks...
The self cancelling indicators mostly work although I'd prefer them to stay on longer sometimes, and you still have to check that they've cancelled, so really what's the point?
Overall, tbh, I think of it as an automatic motorcycle rather than a scooter - and it's a keeper

It seems from the review that the system to link your phone to the scoot is not without its problems and hassles, so you may be best to leave them unlinked!

That is so true. I have an electric bike with Bluetooth link, a car with Bluetooth and network link, a scooter with Bluetooth link. They tend to remain connected when at home so eat their battery power and the phones too. Best disconnected and/or switched off!

How on earth that numpty road tester managed to get one down to 57mpg...I certainly wouldn't like to pillion with him!

He is a journalist....its almost an essential requirement for a journalist to thrash a PTW to its limits and get terrible fuel figures! He clearly wasn't hanging around....
