Hi everybody.
I got a Silence S01 a few years ago. Experienced some ups and downs with it, but overall quite happy with it.
Greetings from Austria.

Hi bajo. I actually hadn't heard of Silence before but had a look at a few reviews. Looks like a fast scoot, albeit at the expense of range. Very nice design too and used values (in the Uk) seem competitive. I wonder how many they sold.

Re: Hello there
That said, I think there’s at least one other Silence S01 owned by someone on here.Ministerofsillywalks wrote: Sat Sep 27, 2025 12:44 pm This website is not really for this type of scooter but welcome anyway.
So it’s probably as good a place as any other old school forum to discuss it.

Re: Hello there
As an ex-owner my opinion is that it qualifies as interesting because of its good performance ( acceleration at least ) and carrying capacity; not to mention its electric credentials. Unfortunately the UK importers in the Midlands disappeared having failed to establish any UK support structure or spares backup and a Bristol company seems to have taken over some interest in selling them. Basically I would love to have traded in my original model for the latest version but couldn't find any dealers willing or able to offer this at any price. So I took a huge loss and went back to petrol. The S01 had just one serious design flaw, see other posts for details.
