Hello from Australia

Post by RollaCosta »

G’day All
I must confess I am a maxi-muppet, a sucker for a CVT. After perhaps 400000km+ of my riding experience, who wants to shift when you can just roll?
Had a range of scoots from Agility 125 back in 2008 to the almighty SRV 850 now, which is why I am joining.
Location = Melbourne
Gender = Male
Age = 50+

I also have a BMW C650 Sport as a second “just in case” bike.

If anyone out there in Melbourne East, let’s ride maxis!

Welcome, Too far and too fast for me I'm afraid, I don't own a Maxi yet, might one day if I decide to sell my F800GT which is getting less use now as I get older.
Initially joined for advice because a couple of even older mates here in the UK had Bergmans and Forzas etc. Never appealed to me at the time and hadn't ridden an auto until a Navi came along 2 years ago, very rare in the UK, I love it!
My son lived in St Albans/Keilor for a few years so I got to know the West reasonably well but have ridden the other side a bit, Dandenong for an RWC on my Postie. That's now south of Geelong which is great for slow rides around the Bellarine, down the GOR and this year we did the ferry to Rosebud and did a day the other side.
Can't wait to get back.
