Quite a few interesting scoots being unveiled at EICMA, though of course it there's no way of knowing whether any will make their way to the UK. Some I've noticed include (No idea who the YouTuber is!)
QJ have a Tmax style scoot - 550cc, 55bhp, bike like chassis with belt final drive
Aprilia have their 400cc Adventure Scoot (similar to ADV350)
Rather curious Sym Touring scoot, basically a TL508 with panniers (and small fuel tank!).

The zontes 552G looks interesting as a larher version of the 368G. Voge have released a ADV350 competitor as well. Be interesting to see if these end up in uk shores.

To round this off, this video is a round up of Maxi-scoots at EICMA, including a couple we haven't mentioned previously.

I like the SYM (though I like the young lady sitting on it more). But I would definitely not have one. (The SYM not the young lady.) Great till you need a part for it. Getting parts from the importers is like trying to knit fog. I know, as I have had one.

Perhaps she should be an optional extra. I’d buy one.

Re: EICMA Scoots
Yeah...the Sym Adventure bike thingy looks quite interesting as its only a 400 but has a proper swing arm and chassis mounted engine design. They are selling the 508TL (Tmax clone) off at silly prices these days (half the Tmax price) and I have toyed with one as my mk3 Tmax is getting a bit aged, but I do worry long term availability of parts etc.Ministerofsillywalks wrote: Fri Nov 14, 2025 12:41 pm I like the SYM (though I like the young lady sitting on it more).
