Lot's of this stuff kicking around seen a few about the nonexsistent new 650. You tube is full of it and with some of the better ones it can be difficult to tell what's real and what isn't.

After the non-existent new Burgman 650 I too take it with a rather large pinch of salt.

my local dealer say there's none in the pipeline due to emissions.
I had a burgman a few years a go. its a shame they couldn't pick a better colour.
even the new are plane dark silver with blue wheels.

Judging by the number of ads after the article I think it is just good old-fashioned clickbait. Pull people in and bombard them with adverts.

The Burger 400 is still on the Suzuki UK website at £7,200, with the option to order online, so it looks as if its still available. With only 29bhp and a weight of 218kg, its not going to be a ball of fire!

You do wonder why you'd buy one over a Honda ADV/Forza /Yam X-max. The Burger used to be a bigger, slightly more powerful, touring type scoot, but the latest ones are somewhat smaller than the old ones, with only the same power as the ADV and significantly heavier. I guess if you want a 400cc touring scoot, you have to bring your full wallet to BMW for the C400!

Having seriously considered a BMW C400 GT as a replacement for my Forza 300 ‘bring a full wallet’ doesn’t really apply. Both the C400 GT and a 3 Year Service Plan weren’t really wallet busting at all. There’s a really good BMW Motorrad dealership about 30 minutes ride away from my home here in Essex and I would have bought one but in the end I didn’t tick all the boxes or have all the standard features I wanted.

If you look at used BMW C400 GT’s on Autotrader and look at say used Honda ADV 350’s there’s not that much of a price difference. The C400 GT has a higher spec like heated grips and seats, far better wet weather protection etc. The ADV has the advantage of better under seat storage than the FlexCase equipped BMW and not much else.
