Having seen what people have recently paid out on Bergmans and T-max's are they really that big?

They have instantly priced themselves out of any serious sales.
I was waiting for a test ride, with a view to maybe getting one new, but at that price, forget it!

Bikes do tend to be more cash in mainland Europe. In Spain, I saw a local dealer after nearly £6000 for a Burgman 400! So, bank on it being a little under 9k for the Sport You can get nearly two X10s for that

Indeed; my Silverwing was considerably more here than it would have been in the UK.

Whilst waiting to follow Ed back from having his bike serviced at our BMW garage I asked the wife of the owner (she's very knowledgeable) whether they'd be selling the BMW maxis and also if they'd have a demonstrator.
The answer to both was 'yes'.
Not only will they sell and service them they have already sold some to biker customers!
The dealers have already been on to BMW to produce more.

The demonstrator will be a Sport model but I've booked my ride.

They will be available here at the end of April, 2012.

I have in front of me the official brochure and price-list:

The GT here will cost €11,050.00. This includes VAT @21%
The extra 'package - heated grips, seats and so on is €850.00.
Alarm - €225.00.

The 600 Sport is about €1000.000. cheaper.

She asked about UK prices; I told her they would probably be less but servicing is more expensive in the UK, to which she replied that quite a few English owners come over to them to have their bikes serviced whilst on holiday.

Just thought you'd like to know.

Having heated grips and seats as extras just sounds like a rip off when you look at it next to the Burgman 650 which is cheaper and has both as standard.

I read somewhere that it was already out....but there's no sign of it whatsoever on the UK website. Aprilia probably have no idea themselves!
