Re: New Members
I think Bornagainbiker has it right. I bought my Bike for pleasure rather than commuting. Its interesting to compare the attitude of my Advanced Motorcyclist group. They mainly ride for pleasure and every Saturday rain or shine they are off for at least 100 miles. Mostly on big bugger off BMW's mind you!
I hope that we can get more meets etc. sorted in the North for the Spring Summer, last year was pretty poor really. It was just a thought that maybe someone had put up a notice in a dealers or something.

Re: New Members
We have some fantastic biking roads here in Dorset, Hampshire and Sussex.... you dont have to go far to lose the traffic down here

Re: New Members
Well im one of the 8% and i can honestly say i ride to commute, also use it to potter around to see my family... And the odd run out for the hell of itbornagainbiker wrote:According to this site poll of 229 replies, 8% (18) are from the North East of England. The SE is commuter driven so more 2 wheelers that have to ride, where I would think most 'Northerners' ride for pleasure and not as a daily commute.

Re: New Members
It'd certainly be worth advertising again in TNG.

Re: New Members
It doesn't cost anything. Just some time to write a paragraph and email it off to TNG.

Re: New Members
Mind you we should do a stand at the Copdock bike show or something similar.

Re: New Members
New Members mean fresh ideas and enthusiasm, just what any club needs. I am going to try a couple of things locally see if any thing works. Should be doing this now because anyone thinking of getting Scoot for the Spring will be looking about at this time.

Hello Gerard C
I'm currently in the process of selling my Nevada Cruiser, and returning back to a maxi-scooter, probably a X9. Once i collected my Piaggio X9 I'm more then welcome to have a ride with you to squires or sun inn or dunnies, if you know any of them popular biker places?
