I will try to get it apart and come up with and mod to reuse it, thermostats are cheap enough
and one WILL be available via one of the motor factors.
Was thinking of a top clamp like the exhaust ring on the header pipe, bottom one the same but with a
lump milled out so it will slot around the bottom pipe. The bottom pipe will need a some notch milling
in either side to locate the bottom clamp. All very do-able and somut to do on the mill and lathe...
Cheers. Lyn.

If it is a GO, i could do them on a send your old one to me and i will redo it...got to be worth a try if they
are daft money..Plus it will give an old retired grump git some thing to do..
its not possible. i tried everything with mine i drilled it hammered it. they sealed for a reason lol

the b 500 is a very nice looking maxi scoot , ive seen the new b350 video that was recently posted, it looks the "bizz", . I think piaggio have a winner in the 350, yet the b500 is just a bigger version, and didn't sell well over here????????
Im not a gynecologist, but I dont mind taking a look.

I think the 350 is the better looking bike. the 500 takes a bit of getting used to. from certain angles its a nice looking bike
but from others its not so great.

I think that applies to all scoots... sometimes my Nexus doesn't look great when I look at it but a quick side step and it looks fantastic.

Great stuff, i will have a go on the milling machine, should be able to mill off that locking band
it will have been swagged on in the factory. I take by the picture it is all plastic apart from the
locking band. I will PM you my address, Ta!
