The newer ones I think 05/06 onwards are same as the mana, I asked at smc Sheffield and they told me this.

Yea SMC sheffield told me the same, think they were around £11.000 -£12.000

I wish I'd known that when I bought the Mana, I could've had one of them instead, bugger!

Or you could have had a vfr1200 dct. There are loads of them about going cheap
EDIT: Looking on the Yamaha page for the FJR AS it looks as though it is still not a "twist n go" as such. But you can ride it on an auto licence

And the reason the tank is 25lts is cos i could not better 38mpg with mine..
but it does have a fantastic motor, you can change gear with your foot or your
finger

bit of a pig doing a hill start thou..but nice.

The Yamaha is not twist and go, it does not select gears for you. It is an auto clutch so suitable for an auto licence. The VFR1200 DCT does have twist and go drive and sport modes and a normal mode. As does the dct version of the Crosstourer as that is basically the same bike in different clothes. Both are more powerful than the Mana
