Thats a good thing about having a older scoot, it has a few scractches and will get more in the future. I keep scratching the left hand mirror when I squeeze the scooot out the garage.

 I`m sure most of us have done something similar, I usually put a scratch on my vehicles shortly after I`ve bought them. (I put it down to the "getting used to it" phase.) I touched the Hexy`s paint up with Humbrol model paint and it is practically un-noticable.

Thanks for the empathy guys, its good to know that I'm not the only one , I've taken a mental note to: not to leave panniers on or yard brushes lying around, to put mouse traps on me seat, and take more care putting it away and getting it out. But I'm going to draw the line at putting a few deliberate scratches in with a craft knife
It has cut through to the base coat, and when I T-cut them they didn't seem so bad, but beware the metallic top coat is only a few microns thick and it does not take much to rub it away.
I have ordered some reflective stickers to cover em up with, either black checkers or flames.

I don't feel so bad with myself today, as I took a ride up to Anglesey and back and now its filthy and you cant see em ;)
