Can you look at the service book and tell us the service intervals? I've looked on foreign sites and they are either 5000km or 6000km seems to vary by country...

Spoken to MotoGB. Can confirm the MaxSym 400 is every 6000 miles or 6 months. New service books due to arrive.... ;)

My dealer suggested the Maxsym 400i when I went in to order my new Burgman 400. Though they didn't have one to have a look at I perused the brochure and I must admit I was tempted, especially as the Maxsym is a whole grand cheaper than the Burgman. Well, £500 if you factor in the lack of ABS, heated grips etc the 400Z has. In the end I decided to pay the (effectively) £500 more for the 400Z for Japanese quality, as Syms are a bit of an unknown quantity as far as I have been able to ascertain. I'm not saying that Syms are low quality, just that with Japanese you know you are getting quality.
