Re: Tyre Time Again - advice needed
I like the City Grips on the XMax and holding up well, no squaring off on the rear etc, then again its gonna be a whole different ball game on a TMax...
May be worth getting a dual compound rear if mainly commuting...
Power Pures are only available in 17" AFAIK...
Watlings - but take in loose rims...

Re: Tyre Time Again - advice needed
perfect timing for this thread.. the rear on my tmax is in need of a change. After my already documented rip off at a large central london dearler for the front tyre, any dealer suggestions for supply and fit in and around london? Oh and while I'm at it, I haven't seen too much comment on bridgestones.. I presume that on a cost vs wear basis.
Thanks all.
Thanks all.

Re: Tyre Time Again - advice needed
No I love Bridgestones on the TMax. I really got on well with the TH01s on the mk2 - immeasurably better than the Avon total dangerous shite that was on very briefly, and the BT011/12s on the mk3 are really sporty. My Tmax originally had the Dunlop alternatives on which were fine in the dry but gave little feel in the wet.tmaxed wrote:perfect timing for this thread.. the rear on my tmax is in need of a change. Damned expensive though....though the Dunlops are pricier!
I even like B.stone Hoops on the mk1....
